I haven't seen a new Heart in Nature for awhile now. Silly me - I just needed to go out to the garden. A garlic scape - any ideas for a title? Bonus photo - another veggie garden photo. Any guesses as to the plant? (I do know but I had never looked close enough to enjoy its beauty.)

I'm working on something a little different. Still have to figure out the details but I think I'm going to like it. I got some lovely frames from local shop The Vermont Bowl Company and I'm turning them into picture frames for my photos. I should have them all put together by next week and ready for sale. (Overall size is about 15 inches.) What do you think?

Yesterday I visited the osprey nest in Brattleboro. It was a hot summer day and when I got there the parent was standing with its wings out to the side, partially to cool itself off but also to give the little ones some shade. Later, they had spread out on the nest but they sure looked hot!
